  1. The publishers create ad products with defined targeting and pricing that are available to be purchased by more sophisticated advertisers (i.e. agencies). The advertiser logs into the Seller Cloud Self-Serve interface, searches for ad products, adds them to an Insertion Order (IO), and specifies delivery goals, targeting and creative.
  2. Once the IO has been approved by the publisher, it is inserted into the publisher’s own ad server and then monitored by the platform automatically. That IO can also be pushed back into SalesForce.com.
  3. The advertiser can monitor the IO and request changes to any campaign setting.
